Discussing the idea, former royal butler Grant Harrold reveals that he believes that the couple will renew their vows – but not anytime soon. Speaking on behalf of OLBG<\/a>, Mr Harrold said: “I really don\u2019t think they will this year, it has only been eight years.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

“I can certainly see it happening in the future for a big anniversary – maybe we will see them renew their vows in 2028 for the 10th anniversary.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

“That wouldn\u2019t surprise me as it is a very American thing to do. I don\u2019t see it happening before then though.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

He also shared that the event would likely be low-key, with none of the royals in attendance.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The former royal butler added: “If they did do it I don\u2019t think it would be a massive event. I think it would be something much more low key.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

“I highly doubt any other royals would attend and it would probably just be a more informal celebration in the US.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The couple tied the knot on May 19, 2018, at St George’s Chapel in Windsor and was attended by members of the Royal Family.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

This included the late Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, the now-King Charles, who walked his daughter-in-law down the aisle, and the now-Prince and Princess of Wales.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The couple later stepped down from royal duties in early 2020, and now reside in California with their children, seven-year-old Prince Archie and four-year-old Princess Lilibet.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
