Rod Stewart<\/a> and Phil Collins<\/a> enjoyed time together at a special event in the UK.<\/p>\n Collins, 75, was accompanied by his ex-wife, Jill Collins, to spend an afternoon at Buckingham Palace on May 14, to celebrate The King’s Trust 50th Anniversary Party. She shared a photo, along with Penny Lancaster<\/a>, of the four of them celebrating the day together.<\/p>\n “Despite the downpours of torrential rain which did not seem to dampen the festivities @officialphilcollins<\/a> and I were very proud and honored to be there and have a few private moments with King Charles who seemed genuinely pleased to see Phil who was the very first ambassador 40 years ago and a trustee even before that! We are donating hundreds of items from our personal archives with 100% of the proceeds benefiting @kingstrust<\/a> as well as asking others to donate very special personal items,” she wrote.<\/p>\n “Phil has also designed a tshirt which will be sold with all the proceeds going to @kingstrust<\/a>. If you do not know the amazing work @kingstrust<\/a> does to help young people please take a minute or two to look it up!”<\/p>\n The Genesis musician shared an update in January 2026 and revealed that he’s been experiencing particularly “difficult” challenges over the last few years.<\/p>\n \u201cIt’s an ongoing thing,\u201d he told host Zoe Ball on the Jan. 21 episode of BBC’s\u00a0Eras<\/em><\/a>\u00a0podcast. \u201cI have a 24-hour live-in nurse<\/a> to make sure I take my medication as I should do.
