Ghanaian musician and entertainment pundit <\/a><\/a><\/a><\/a><\/a>Mimi<\/a> has urged organisers of the Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMAs) to be more intentional in how they invite celebrities to the event\u2019s red carpet.<\/p>\n According to her, simply sending out invitations is not enough to attract high-profile personalities who can elevate the glamour and prestige of the red carpet.<\/p>\n Speaking during a discussion on Onua Show Time, <\/a><\/a><\/a><\/a><\/a>Mimi<\/a> suggested that organisers should create attractive invitation packages that make celebrities feel valued and appreciated.<\/p>\n \u201cNext time, TGMA should invite red carpet-worthy celebrities to the red carpet. There are people we all know in the industry that would give us good name on the red carpet, but they weren\u2019t invited,\u201d she said. <\/p>\n She proposed that the packages could include complimentary hotel accommodation for up to three days after the event, massage therapy sessions, and even fabrics as part of the gesture.<\/p>\n \u201cThe celebrities are grown and they have a certain status. You can\u2019t just send them an invite. They can do a nice package, add some things, maybe three days stay at a hotel after the show, a massage therapy and other nice things for the celebrities to unveil the package.
