\n\tApple<\/a>\u2018s Eddy Cue<\/a> will be named Entertainment Person of the Year at Cannes Lions<\/a> next month.<\/p>\n

\n\tCue, the tech giant\u2019s Senior Vice President of Services and Health, is being presented the award for his role in overseeing Apple\u2019s ecosystem. Included under his purview is streaming service Apple TV<\/a>, which launched six years ago and counts the likes of Ted Lasso<\/em>, Severance<\/em> and The Studio<\/em> among its most-notable originals.<\/p>\n

\n\tCue also oversees Apple Music, Apple Podcasts, Apple Books, Apple Pay, Apple News, Apple Card, Apple Maps, Fitness+ and iCloud, along productivity and creativity apps.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Studio<\/em>\u00a0recently became the most-awarded freshman comedy series of all time, winning at all the major ceremonies, and\u00a0Severance<\/em>\u00a0was last year\u2019s most Emmy-awarded drama series. Apple Original Films\u2019 Ablockbuster\u00a0F1<\/em>\u00a0broke records as the highest-grossing sports film of all time.<\/p>\n

\n\tCannes Lions, marketing\u2019s biggest annual industry get-together, bestows the Entertainment Person of the Year award \u201cin recognition of the vital role that entertainment plays in the marketing and communications landscape.\u201d<\/p>\n
