Google has announced<\/a> a major update to Flow Music, adding new AI-powered song editing, music video generation and mobile creation features. The platform, which runs on Google\u2019s Lyria 3 Pro music model, was initially introduced earlier this year as part of the broader Google Flow ecosystem for artists, producers and songwriters.<\/p>\n One of the biggest additions is section-by-section editing. Users can now highlight specific parts of a song and make changes without affecting the rest of the track. According to Google, this includes rewriting or translating lyrics, changing production styles, modifying beat drops or extending short musical sections into entirely new ideas. The update is designed to offer more control compared to traditional prompt-based AI music systems.<\/p>\n Google Flow Music is also introducing a new \u201ccovers\u201d feature that allows users to transform the style of complete tracks while preserving the original melody and arrangement.
