However, this week\u2019s Stable Audio 3.0 can generate tracks up to six minutes long.\n\n\n<aside>\t\t\t\n\t\t<\/aside>\n\n<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In fact,\u00a0<a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/stability.ai\/news-updates\/meet-stable-audio-3-the-model-family-built-for-artistic-experimentation-with-open-weight-models\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">this is a family of four models rather than just one<\/a>: 3.0 Small SFX can generate sound effects \u2018on-device\u2019\u00a0\u2013\u00a0meaning it runs on smartphones and laptops. 3.0 Small can generate full-music clips up to two minutes long, on devices too.\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It\u2019s the 3.0 Medium and 3.0 Large models that can do more, boosting quality as well as the maximum track length. All bar the Large model are \u2018open-weight\u2019, which means they can be downloaded and built on by developers.\n\n\n\n<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWe want to foster the same kind of community-driven innovation in audio that we sparked in image generation with the launch of Stable Diffusion,\u201d explained the company.\n\n\n\n<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Stability AI has recently signed licensing deals with Universal Music Group and Warner Music Group, and this week brings more news on an industry-relations tip.
