A royal commentator called Prince Harry<\/strong> and Meghan Markle<\/a><\/strong> \u201cvery bitter and unhappy people,\u201d arguing that their latest attempt to win back the public\u2019s affection should have come before they criticized the royal family. Journalist Kinsey Schofield assessed the Sussexes live on GB News, suggesting they are far too late in winning back the public. She also reacted to the couple\u2019s release of never-before-seen wedding photos to mark their eighth anniversary.<\/p>\n

Kinsey Schofield believes that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry\u2019s main goal was to prove a point to the public as well as to the royal family. She told host Beverley Turner, \u201cI think that the ultimate objective is to prove that they are living happily ever after,\u201d then pointing to persistent reports that the couple<\/a> is leading separate lives, noting that Markle recently travelled to Sweden without Harry.\u00a0<\/p>\n

As for the anniversary video \u2014 Schofield suggested they were a deliberate attempt to remind the public they are still in love and still close to the Royal Family.<\/p>\n

Schofield also discussed why so many people simply cannot warm to them anymore. She suggested that the couple got their approach the wrong way round, and had they led with \u201clovey-dovey philanthropy\u201d like the Netflix series \u201cWith Love, Meghan,\u201d and only later voiced grievances about palace life, the public might have stayed on their side.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Instead, \u201cbecause they came out guns blazing and they were so negative at the start, we are having a hard time forgiving them for that. And we see them as these very bitter and unhappy people.\u201d<\/p>\n

Turner raised the point that the old-fashioned institution refused to let Markle<\/a> have her own separate PR operation. However, Schofield was not having it. She noted, \u201cGirl, look at what her press team has done for her in the last six years,\u201d adding that the Duchess has cycled through communications staff and still allegedly finds it difficult to win people over.<\/p>\n
