Dancing With the Stars fans won\u2019t learn the full official cast for season 35 until September, but the person responsible for booking celebrities onto the show has dropped some new clues about what they can expect from the newest crop of celebrities.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

The ABC<\/a> show is officially returning for a 35th season this fall, and the dancing competition series<\/a> has already confirmed three of the celebrities who will take a turn on the dance floor in an attempt to win the Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

While attending the Gracie Awards in Beverly Hills, Katz opened up on the red carpet about the upcoming season and her efforts to secure a prime cast of celebrities.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

While she wouldn\u2019t reveal any identities, she did share that a cast is already close to being fully drawn up\u2013and there is a specific vibe going into the new season.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

\u201cI\u2019m really excited about what I\u2019m putting together this year. I\u2019m even a little bit earlier than I usually am. I\u2019m about two-thirds of the way done already,\u201d she told ABC 7 Eyewitness News<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

While speaking with Season 34 competitors and award show attendees, Danielle Fishel and Jordan Chiles, she also confirmed the cast would be the same size as the one from their season, which consisted of 14 celebrities, before sharing that things would be \u201ccompetitive.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

\u201cIt\u2019s coming together great. I will say, if it\u2019s a hint at all\u2026I feel like one of the many reasons why the show is doing as well as it\u2019s become very competitive,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

\u201cI feel like it\u2019s a little bit more like a sporting event than it used to be. So you could imagine there\u2019s going to be people that, the competition keeps raising.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

What that could mean in terms of competitors remains to be seen.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Thus far, three stars have been confirmed as part of the show\u2019s cast. Traitors Season 4 stars Maura Higgins and Ciara Miller\u2013alums from Love Island UK and Summer House\u2013were both announced at the Hulu Get Real Event in April.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

At Disney\/ABC Upfronts in May, Savannah Bananas star Jackson Olson was announced to have also signed on to join the cast.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Rumors have begun to fly around One Tree Hill alum and Everyone is Doing Great star James Lafferty, 40, after he took to social media to share that he would have interest, but outlined a condition for competing involving his show and how it performed on Netflix.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
