Katie Price<\/strong><\/a> blasted \u201cdisgusting\u201d rumors that the search for her missing husband<\/a>, Lee Andrews<\/strong>, is a publicity stunt.<\/p>\n

\u201cI need to look after my own sanity. I\u2019m taking a step back for my own sanity,\u201d Price, 47, told her Instagram<\/a> followers on Thursday, May 21. \u201cThere\u2019s only one person I also need to look after [which] is myself. I am now taking a step back and that\u2019s it.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Celebrity Big Brother UK<\/em> star continued, \u201cI\u2019ve still got to work. There\u2019s exciting things coming up. But, for my sanity, I don\u2019t know what\u2019s true, what\u2019s not true. I\u2019m like that now. I don\u2019t know. \u2026 My antennas are up now. I\u2019ve decided to take a step back from everything, assess everything in my way and just continue with my life. What will be will be.\u201d<\/p>\n

In an earlier vlog<\/a> on Tuesday, May 19, Price denied that she had any additional information about her husband allegedly going missing<\/a> in Dubai last week.<\/p>\n

\u201cI want to make it clear again to everyone: This is not a publicity stunt. This is real, and anyone who thinks that I\u2019m part of this is disgusting,\u201d she told viewers.<\/p>\n

\u201cNone of his family have still heard anything from Lee. His dad\u2019s out in Dubai has heard nothing, and the rest of his family\u2019s in the U.K., and obviously me,\u201d Price added. \u201cWe have reported him to the British embassy as a missing person; He\u2019s been reported in Dubai as a missing person. I just don\u2019t know what to say.\u201d<\/p>\n

Price and Andrews were supposed to appear together on Good Morning Britain<\/em> on May 12 but he was a no-show. At the time, his absence was blamed on travel problems in Dubai, where Andrews has lived since the early 2000s.<\/p>\n

During that interview, Price was asked directly whether or not it was true that Andrews had been detained in the United Arab Emirates.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tLady Victoria Hervey, the ex-girlfriend of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor (formerly Prince Andrew) appears to have likened the attention surrounding his arrest to a \u201cblood sport.\u201d Posting via her X account on Friday, February 20, Hervey, 49, wrote,\u201cThere is a feeding frenzy going on right now which can only be compared to a blood sport like fox [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cNo, I feel like they just said it to me in there [backstage] so I just said to Lee, \u2018Apparently a British man has been detained, can you confirm it\u2019s not you?\u2019 He\u2019s done a voice note back and said it\u2019s not him and sent laughing emojis,\u201d she explained. \u201cHe\u2019s at the airport and on his way. He had things to do, didn\u2019t make the flight, because of all his business stuff he has to do.\u201d<\/p>\n

Four days later, Price revealed that there was more to the story, revealing that she\u2019d last spoken to Andrews on May 13. Per Price, Andrews claimed he \u201chad ties around his hands\u201d in the back of a van and said he was being taken to a black ops site in the UAE.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat\u2019s the last contact anyone\u2019s had, his family and myself,\u201d she told fans in a May 16 vlog. \u201cSo, this is the third day now. Obviously, he phoned me before the location went off. He\u2019s in the middle of nowhere \u2026 obviously, I\u2019m worried like, what the hell\u2019s happened? Then Thursday came, still nothing. My messages weren\u2019t going through. It was just one tick.\u201d<\/p>\n

On Monday, May 18, London\u2019s Evening Standard<\/em><\/a> reported that Andrews\u2019 family filed a missing persons report at the British embassy in Dubai.<\/p>\n
