Footage of Britney Spears<\/strong><\/a>\u2019 sobriety test and DUI arrest has been released two months after the incident<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In a video obtained by TMZ<\/em><\/a> on Thursday, May 21, Spears, 44, can be seen undergoing a sobriety test on the side of the road. The Highway Patrol car\u2019s dash footage, which was recorded on March 4<\/a>, showed Spears seemingly following one officer\u2019s finger up and down and side to side as a light shined on her face.<\/p>\n

While the audio is scrambled, a second police officer can be seen at one point approaching Spears and seemingly telling her the test is finished. Moments later, the popstar is handcuffed and turned around to face the vehicle.<\/p>\n

Spears appeared to be visibly upset before an officer instructed her how to get into the police car as she was under arrest<\/a>. (Spears agreed to a plea deal in May for the case.)<\/p>\n

In a second video from the same night, two police officers can be seen walking a handcuffed Spears to a car off-camera. The dashcam footage was filmed outside of a hospital of some sort as an ambulance can be seen docked in the background.<\/p>\n

\u201cDid you guys take my phone?\u201d Spears asked once out of frame.<\/p>\n

The officer explained that the \u201cToxic\u201d singer\u2019s cellphone was in her purse. When she questioned whether the police had moved the phone from its place, the officer reassured Spears, \u201cNo, no, it\u2019s still in there.\u201d<\/p>\n

The footage was released hours after Us Weekly<\/em> exclusively reported<\/a> on a police report from Spears\u2019 March DUI.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tBritney Spears was arrested for driving under the influence on March 4. She pleaded guilty to \u201cwet reckless driving\u201d to avoid jail time two months later. Following her March arrest, Spears voluntarily went into a treatment center in April and was officially charged with a DUI on April 30. That same month, Spears\u2019 lawyer represented [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

According to the report, Spears was taken into custody on March 4 near her home in Ventura County, California, after 9 p.m. PT.<\/p>\n

Authorities initially responded to a call that someone was \u201ctraveling at high speeds and swerving,\u201d which was later identified as the Grammy winner.<\/p>\n

Police noted that they pulled Spears over after she allegedly illegally crossed into another lane. When they walked up to Spears\u2019 vehicle, the officer said they detected a \u201cdistinct odor of an alcoholic beverage\u201d inside the car.<\/p>\n

Spears allegedly admitted to having one champagne mimosa seven hours prior. She then allegedly told an officer at the scene, \u201cI could probably drink four bottles of wine and take care of you. I\u2019m an angel.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tBritney Spears is working on herself following her recent DUI arrest. Us Weekly understands that Spears, 44, has been sober since her DUI arrest, which occurred three weeks ago. The pop star is also attending AA meetings. Us Weekly has reached out to Spears\u2019 rep for comment. Earlier this month, Spears was arrested in Ventura [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The musician also confirmed to police that she had taken multiple prescription drugs that day \u2014 200mg of anticonvulsant and mood stabilizer Lamictal, 40mg of antidepressant Prozac and 2.5 mg of ADHD medication Adderall \u2014 according to the report.<\/p>\n

\u201c[An officer] located a brown purse that contained a bottle of pills labeled \u2018Adderall,\u2019 which were not prescribed to Spears,\u201d the report revealed. \u201c[The officer] also observed an empty wine glass in the cup holder between the front driver seat and passenger seat.\u201d<\/p>\n

When it came to her field sobriety test \u2014 which is visible in the TMZ<\/em> footage \u2014 Spears reportedly failed.<\/p>\n

\u201cSpears related the lights were hurting her head and did not want to continue the test. Spears was unable or unwilling to follow my finger throughout the test,\u201d the report read. \u201cSpears continued to move her head throughout the test after being instructed to keep her head still. Spears related that she was blind in her left eye, but was able to see my finger.\u201d<\/p>\n

Us Weekly has learned that the \u201cToxic\u201d singer, 44, recently checked out of a treatment facility after news broke on April 12 that she had entered. Spears has an arraignment hearing scheduled on Monday, May 4, at the Ventura County [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Us<\/em> previously reported that after Spears was taken into custody on March 4, she was transferred to a local hospital<\/a> to have her blood drawn for a blood alcohol content test. The results came back as .06, which is under the legal limit in California of .08 percent.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis was an unfortunate incident that is completely inexcusable,\u201d Spears\u2019 spokesperson told Us<\/em> on March 5. \u201cBritney is going to take the right steps and comply with the law, and hopefully this can be the first step in long overdue change that needs to occur in Britney\u2019s life. Hopefully, she can get the help and support she needs during this difficult time.\u201d<\/p>\n

The \u201cOops \u2026 I Did It Again\u201d singer<\/a> ultimately entered rehab on April 12, with an insider exclusively telling Us<\/em><\/a> that Spears\u2019 two sons, Sean Preston, 20, and Jayden, 19, played a big part in getting her to go.<\/p>\n

\u201cBritney went to rehab after several conversations with both of her sons,\u201d a source told Us<\/em> at the time, referring to her and ex-husband Kevin Federline<\/strong>\u2019s two kids. \u201cThey expressed concern about her recent behavior and urged her to seek professional help, which has been long overdue, to get her back on track<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n
