The Just One Project will regularly collect excess food from select events, package it safely, and distribute it through a network of partner organizations.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"MuiTypography-root MuiTypography-paragraph paragraph css-50tlrn\" data-og-block-area=\"article-blocks\" data-og-block-nth=\"3\" data-og-block-type=\"core\/paragraph\" data-rawhtml=\"1\">\n<p>The program hit the ground running. A four-day conference served as the launch point, generating almost 4,500 pounds of extra food \u2014 enough to provide approximately 3,749 meals to local residents.
