Stephen Colbert<\/a> on Thursday delivered his final \u201cLate Show\u201d monologue. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Or at least, he tried to. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

As he spoke, he was repeatedly interrupted by celebrities sitting in his audience, each of whom thought they would have the honor of being his last guest. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Spoiler alert: None of them made the cut. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Actor Bryan Cranston<\/a> popped up in the audience wearing a \u201cLate Show\u201d hat to ask if there might be \u201ca surprise celebrity cameo popping up out of nowhere.\u201d <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

\u201cNo, Bryan, those always feel kind of forced,\u201d Colbert replied. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

\u201cAbsolutely, yeah, totally, that\u2019s a very cheap stunt,\u201d Cranston agreed. \u201cBut hey, I\u2019m here. Maybe I could be your last guest.\u201d <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

When Colbert said he already had a \u201cpretty special\u201d show lined up, Cranston lost his cool. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

\u201cWhat the hell am I here for?\u201d he asked. \u201cYou know what, you can keep your stupid hat. I\u2019m gonna go sell my ticket.\u201d <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Then, he tossed the hat and stormed off. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Not long after, actor Paul Rudd appeared to ask if he would have time to read his poem during the final interview.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

\u201cYou wrote a poem about me?\u201d Colbert asked.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

\u201cI wrote a poem,\u201d Rudd corrected. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

He, in turn, was interrupted by actor\/comedian Tim Meadows, who insisted he would actually be Colbert\u2019s last guest so they could reminisce about their time at Second City together. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

\u201cIt\u2019s not you either, Tim,\u201d Colbert said. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

\u201cScrew you, Colbert!\u201d Meadows shot back. \u201cYou know what? You got what you deserve!\u201d <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

When Colbert returned from break, comedian Tig Notaro and actor Ryan Reynolds also made humorous interruptions.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
