Taking to her Instagram handle on Friday, the\u00a023-year-old singer announced that she has released the second song from her upcoming album,\u00a0You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love.<\/i><\/p>\n
\u201cTHE CURE SONG AND VIDEO IS OUT NOW!!!!! this song means so much to me and I\u2019m so so so happy that it\u2019s out in the world!\u201d she penned while sharing a series of pictures from her music video.<\/p>\n
The Deja Vu <\/i>hitmaker also praised the creative team behind her track, writing, \u201cShout out to @dan_nigro for making it with me and being the best producer\/songwriter in the game.<\/p>\n
\u201cThank u @bead.lizard and @catsolen for creating this brilliant, imaginative music video that I adore,” she added.<\/p>\n
Concluding the caption, Olivia declared that The Cure <\/i>is the thesis statement of her upcoming album.<\/p>\n

“It\u2019s kind of like the climax of the record. It\u2019s just sort of about how, when you\u2019re younger, you think falling in love with someone will fix all of your problems. And then I think when you face love in reality, you realize that that\u2019s not the truth,” she said.<\/p>\n
“So this is just me coming to terms with things that I wanted to be fixed about myself or things that I thought that love would solve. And lo and behold, it didn\u2019t. So I wrote a song about it,” added the Good 4 U<\/i> hitmaker.<\/p>\n
