When and how did you know you wanted to pursue this professionally?<\/strong> I realised my honesty could actually mean something to other people, and that\u2019s when it became serious.<\/p>\n MICHAELA<\/cite><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/figure>\n If our readers have never heard your music before, what is one song from your discography that you would have them listen to first?<\/strong> \n

Music was never a hobby for me; it was always the place I went to make sense of my emotions. I started writing songs at 18 as a way to process things I didn\u2019t know how to say out loud. At some point, I realised this wasn\u2019t just something I loved, it was something I needed<\/em> to do. The moment I knew it had to be a career was when I noticed people connecting to my demos in a way that felt bigger than me. I realised my honesty could actually mean something to other people, and that\u2019s when it became serious.<\/p>\n\n
