Britney Spears<\/strong><\/a> invited police officers to her house for lasagna and to use her pool during her March DUI arrest<\/a>, according to reports on Thursday, May 21, from The New York Times<\/em><\/a> and TMZ<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou can come to my house \u2014 I\u2019ll make you food or lasagna or whatever you want. I have a pool,\u201d Spears, 44, allegedly told officers when she was pulled over by the California Highway Patrol in Ventura County, California, on March 4.<\/p>\n

According to the New York Times<\/em>, which said it had obtained police records including video footage and an arrest report, Spears also spoke in a British accent at times.<\/p>\n

\u201cHer mood changed from confrontational and agitated to flamboyant and compliant,\u201d the arresting officer noted in his report, per the Times<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tBritney Spears was arrested for driving under the influence on March 4. She pleaded guilty to \u201cwet reckless driving\u201d to avoid jail time two months later. Following her March arrest, Spears voluntarily went into a treatment center in April and was officially charged with a DUI on April 30. That same month, Spears\u2019 lawyer represented [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

A police report obtained by Us Weekly<\/em> on Thursday noted that the officer who pulled the singer over detected a \u201cdistinct odor of an alcoholic beverage\u201d from her vehicle. Spears allegedly told officers she had only had one champagne mimosa seven hours earlier.<\/p>\n

\u201cI could probably drink four bottles of wine and take care of you. I\u2019m an angel,\u201d she allegedly said.<\/p>\n

According to the report, the \u201cWomanizer\u201d singer confirmed she had taken prescription drugs on the day of her arrest, including 200mg of anticonvulsant and mood stabilizer Lamictal, 40mg of antidepressant Prozac and 2.5 mg of ADHD medication Adderall.<\/p>\n

\u201c[An officer] located a brown purse that contained a bottle of pills labeled \u2018Adderall,\u2019 which were not prescribed to Spears,\u201d the report said. \u201c[The officer] also observed an empty wine glass in the cup holder between the front driver seat and passenger seat.\u201d<\/p>\n

Us Weekly<\/em> reached out to Spears\u2019 representative for comment on Thursday.<\/p>\n
