ZAYN has treated fans to a surprise expansion of his fifth album KONNAKOL, dropping a deluxe edition that adds three brand-new songs to the project just weeks after its original release.<\/p>\n
\nThe extended drop includes Daydreamin\u2019, Bad for You and Raise the Dead – giving listeners a deeper dive into the world he\u2019s been building across the KONNAKOL era.<\/p>\n
\nThe bonus material marks the first new music since the album\u2019s launch last month.<\/p>\n
\nZAYN is also offering fans the chance to get their hands on a limited-edition 7-inch vinyl of the single Die For Me.<\/p>\n
\nThe deluxe edition arrives the day before ZAYN kicks off The KONNAKOL Tour on May 23 in London, marking his first major run in years. The tour will stretch across the UK before heading overseas to Mexico City, S\u00e3o Paulo, Buenos Aires and beyond.<\/p>\n
\nZAYN was forced to rethink the schedule for the tour after he was hospitalised.<\/p>\n
\nSharing an update on Instagram, he said: \u201cTo my fans: Thank you so much for all the support and love you\u2019ve shown me on the album release and more importantly your love, prayers, and well wishes for my health. I\u2019ve felt it, and it\u2019s meant the world. I\u2019ve been at home recovering and I\u2019m doing well and will be better and stronger than before.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nThe 33-year-old singer explained that his health concerns meant he had no choice but to reduce the number of shows in the coming months.<\/p>\n
\nHe said: \u201cI\u2019ve had to take another look at my schedule for the months ahead and have to reduce the number of shows on the KONNAKOL Tour. I want to make sure I still get out and see as many of you as I possibly can. I\u2019m really looking forward to playing these shows for you, and I hope to see the rest of you around the world very soon. Big Love, Z.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nThe announcement followed an earlier scare when the singer revealed he had been admitted to hospital with an unspecified condition, prompting him to cancel a number of fan events tied to the release of KONNAKOL.<\/p>\n
\nPosting a photo from his hospital bed at the time, he told fans: \u201cTo my fans \u2013 thank you to all of you for your love and support now and always – been a long week and am still unexpectedly recovering.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cHeartbroken that I can\u2019t see you all this week, I wouldn\u2019t be in the place I am today without you guys and am so thankful for your understanding.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nHe also praised the medical team who cared for him during his stay.<\/p>\n
