If you missed out on tickets to Queen Elizabeth II: Her Life in
\nStyle before they sold out, don\u2019t fret: The Royal Collection Trust
\nhas extended their landmark exhibit about the late monarch\u2019s style
\nanother six months.<\/p>\n

Visitors will be able to view some of
\nQueen Elizabeth II\u2019s most iconic gowns\u2014including her 1947 wedding
\ndress and 1953 coronation gown\u2014and outfits from her ten decades of
\nlife through April 2027.<\/h5>\n

Three hundred items are on display at The King\u2019s
\nGallery<\/a> at Buckingham Palace, some for the first time. The
\nexhibit opened in April to coincide with Queen Elizabeth II\u2019s
\n100th<\/sup> birthday and sold out shortly after opening.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe response to this exhibition has been
\nunprecedented,\u201d<\/em> Tim Knox, the Director of the Royal
\nCollection, said.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are delighted to extend its run, ensuring that even more
\npeople from across the UK and around the world will have the chance
\nto experience this once-in-a-generation tribute to Queen Elizabeth
\nII\u2019s life and legacy, in line with our charitable aim to share the
\nRoyal Collection as widely as possible.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n


\nKing Charles and Queen Camilla paid a visit to the exhibit<\/a> on
\nthe eve of Queen Elizabeth II\u2019s 100th<\/sup> birthday last
\nmonth, and were joined by Lady Sarah Chatto, the late queen\u2019s
\nniece, as they toured around the collection.<\/p>\n

Caroline de Guitaut, the Exhibition Curator and Surveyor of The
\nKing\u2019s Works of Arts, said the exhibit celebrates \u201cQueen
\nElizabeth\u2019s uniquely British style and her enduring fashion
\nlegacy.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n
