\n\tChristina Hendricks<\/a> and Naomie Harris<\/a> are set to lead \u201cReputation,\u201d a new celebrity-focused legal drama for BBC<\/a>.<\/p>\n \n\tThe six-part series, from Banijay U.K. company The Forge, sees Harris (\u201cSkyfall\u201d) play Lena, a top lawyer who is hired to represent international pop star Davina Knight (\u201cMad Men\u201d star Hendricks) in the celebrity case of the decade.<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cRivals\u201d star Emily Atack also joins the cast alongside Kyle Soller (\u201cAndor\u201d), who plays Knight\u2019s husband Billy.<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cAfter Davina releases a provocative new song accusing her ex-husband, Billy, of abusive behaviour and he retaliates in kind, their private breakdown erupts into a very public libel battle,\u201d reads the synopsis. \u201cThe case is fought far beyond the courtroom, as PR machines are deployed, laws are bent and social media platforms become judge, jury and battleground \u2013 driving outrage for clicks and warping the truth.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tRounding out the cast are Alex Jennings (\u201cThe Crown\u201d), David Gyasi (\u201cThe Diplomat\u201d), Marli Siu (\u201cTwenty Twenty Six\u201d), Alex Heath (\u201cSerpent Queen\u201d), Tilly Keeper (\u201cYou\u201d), Corey Johnson (\u201cThe Day of the Jackal\u201d), Aidan McArdle (\u201cSherlock & Daughter\u201d), Ernest Kingsley Jnr (\u201cWashington Black\u201d), Jodie Campbell (\u201cBoarders\u201d), Kayla Meikle (\u201cTransaction\u201d), Mike Noble (\u201cThis City is Ours\u201d), Enzo Cilenti (\u201cBlack Mirror\u201d) and Kat Ronney (\u201cDinosaur\u201d).<\/p>\n \n\tAnya Reiss \u201cBecoming Elizabeth\u201d writes and exec produces the series, which is already in production. \n\t\u201cI was hooked from page one of \u2018Reputation,\u2019 says Harris. \u201cIt\u2019s so rare to read scripts with the wit and flair of Anya\u2019s writing and I knew straight away that I wanted to play Lena.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tHendricks added: \u201cDavina\u2019s a fantastic, fierce character.
