Jason Lewis, who famously played Smith on Sex and the City<\/em>, teased “creative work” is coming after being absent from an onscreen project for years.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n “I’m far enough along now that it felt like it was time to resurface and share what I’ve been doing,” Lewis said in an Instagram video.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n Lewis joined Sex and the City <\/em>in 2003 as a love interest for Kim Cattrall’s Samantha Jones, and made his last appearance in 2010’s Sex and the City 2<\/em>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n It’s been more than two decades since Jason Lewis awed audiences, and Kim Cattrall’<\/a>s character Samantha Jones, with his physique as sexy model Jerry “Smith” Jerrod on Sex and the City<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n While Lewis took on a mix of onscreen roles since his last appearance as Smith on 2010’s Sex and the City 2<\/em><\/a>,<\/em> the actor hasn’t appeared in a project since 2020. On Wednesday, Lewis took to a newly created Instagram<\/a> account to address his absence while hinting at having something in the works.<\/p>\n “Three years ago, I went quiet. Not because I had nothing to say but because I had something to do,” Lewis began his video. “The kind of creative work that doesn’t leave room for much else, and I made my peace with that.”<\/p>\n
