The Boy Meets World <\/i><\/a>cast apparently didn\u2019t always get along behind-the-scenes of the beloved sitcom.<\/p>\n

\u201c<\/span>They had some problems working together as \u2026 they grew up,\u201d William Daniels<\/b>\u2019 wife, Bonnie Bartlett<\/b> told Page Six <\/i><\/a>in an interview published on Friday, May 22, adding that it is \u201cvery unusual\u201d for child stars to \u201ccontinue in the business\u201d after acting onscreen at a young age.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey have grown up together. They\u2019ve been very smart,\u201d Bartlett, 96, stated. \u201cThey\u2019ve done well \u2014 all of them. That\u2019s very unusual in a cast with children. They\u2019ve done a good job of that. They\u2019re good people. They\u2019re all good people.\u201d<\/p>\n

Boy Meets World <\/i>aired from 1993 to 2000<\/a>, following preteen Cory Matthews (Ben Savage<\/b>) and his adventures throughout middle school and beyond. The show also starred Danielle Fishel, Rider Strong, Will Friedle <\/b>and Daniels, 99.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tWilliam Daniels wasn\u2019t just an onscreen mentor to the young cast of Boy Meets World in the 1990s as Mr. George Feeny \u2014 he became a real-life confidant throughout 30 years of friendship. The legendary actor already had a 50-year career in Hollywood \u2014 including playing Dustin Hoffman\u2019s father in 1967\u2019s The Graduate and voicing [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Daniels notably portrayed Cory\u2019s neighbor and teacher, Mr. Feeny, who followed the friend group through high school and college. Feeny ultimately married Dean Lila Bolander (played by his real-life wife Bartlett) in the final season.<\/p>\n

According to Bartlett, Daniels was a \u201cpositive influence\u201d to the young actors.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe never told them what to do, but they learned a lot just from watching him \u2026 how to behave, what is serious,\u201d Bartlett told Page Six<\/i>. \u201cYou know, with kids, it\u2019s all a joke, it\u2019s all funny. I think [Bill] introduced them to the seriousness of responsibility.\u201d<\/p>\n

In the years since BMW <\/i>ended, Daniels remained close<\/span><\/a> to his former costars even though Savage, 45, seemingly distanced himself from the rest of the TV family.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe disappeared \u2014 I wish I knew why, to this day,\u201d Friedle, 49, claimed to Variety <\/i>in 2023<\/span><\/a> of Savage, who played his TV brother. \u201cWe didn\u2019t have a fight. There\u2019s no falling out. There was no animosity. He just woke up one day, and decided \u2018I don\u2019t want this person in my life anymore.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

According to Friedle, he tried to initiate contact with Savage for months before giving up.<\/p>\n
