Selling Sunset <\/i>star Chrishell Stause<\/b><\/a> is standing by her comments about Katharine McPhee<\/b><\/a>\u2019s supposed political affiliations.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf you are in these streets campaigning for Trump-backed Pratt, yeah I\u2019m gonna eye roll your advice on men, Katharine,\u201d Stause, 44, wrote in a since-deleted Threads post on Thursday, May 21, per JustJared<\/span><\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Hills <\/i>alum Spencer Pratt<\/b> is currently running for mayor of Los Angeles, for which McPhee, 42, and husband David Foster <\/b>held a fundraiser<\/span><\/a> earlier this month. President Donald Trump <\/b>has also endorsed Pratt\u2019s candidacy.<\/p>\n

Days later, a TikTok user claimed McPhee\u2019s personal life and career is \u201cone of the mcmessiest ones out there.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tKatharine McPhee appears to have no idea what Chrishell Stause\u2019s beef is. TikTok user Jordy Cray posted a video earlier this month claiming that McPhee\u2019s career and personal life was \u201cone of the mcmessiest ones out there,\u201d detailing the American Idol alum\u2019s public romances and scandals. \u201cOne day she will find her real inner confidence [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cOne day she will find her real inner confidence but it won\u2019t come until after she is disgarded [sic] enough times by the problematic men she backs,\u201d Stause replied in the comments section. \u201cAn insecure woman will steal your man, and give the worst advice.\u201d<\/p>\n

McPhee has since claimed she has \u201cno idea\u201d why Stause was mad at her.<\/p>\n

\u201cHonestly I have no idea,\u201d McPhee replied via Instagram<\/span><\/a> on Thursday under E! News<\/i>\u2019 coverage of the back-and-forth drama. \u201cI am just as confused about this controversy as you Imao.\u201d<\/p>\n

As for Stause, she is often outspoken about her political beliefs<\/span><\/a> \u2014 especially as a member of the LGBTQ+ community. Stause publicly came out as queer in 2022 when she confirmed her relationship with now-spouse G Flip, <\/b>who is nonbinary and uses they\/them pronouns.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen we first came out, we had to wade through some real backlash, but we didn\u2019t care because we were so happy,\u201d Stause exclusively told Us Weekly<\/i><\/span><\/a> <\/i>in May 2025. \u201cBecause I look the way I do, people invalidate our relationship or think it\u2019s a phase. Their whirlwind romance was documented on season 5 of the Netflix show, but the twosome split when the Oppenheim Group boss decided he didn\u2019t want [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Stause and G Flip, 32, tied the knot in 2023.<\/p>\n
