Ben Affleck<\/strong><\/a> and Jennifer Garner<\/strong><\/a> proved coordinating coparenting style is a thing.<\/p>\n

Affleck, 53, and Garner, 54, both wore matching light blue sweaters and jeans while stepping out to grab a bite to eat in Los Angeles, as seen in photos published by Just Jared<\/a> on Friday, May 22.<\/p>\n

Garner and Affleck formed a friendship in 2000 while working on the film Pearl Harbor<\/em> together. At the time, Garner was married to Scott Foley<\/strong>, whom she split from in 2003. That same year, Affleck and Garner reconnected while starring in Daredevil<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Garner and Affleck started dating in 2004 and tied the knot the following year. Six months after their nuptials, they welcomed daughter Violet. They expanded their family with Seraphina and Samuel in 2009 and 2012, respectively.<\/p>\n

Affleck and Garner, both 52, were seen arriving separately for a school play in Santa Monica, California, on Sunday, January 26, according to photos obtained by Daily Mail. Garner kept it casual with a [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Affleck and Garner announced in 2015 that they were separating after a decade of marriage. The pair finalized their divorce three years later.<\/p>\n

Despite their split, Affleck and Garner have remained friends since as they continue to coparent their three children. Affleck previously reflected on his and Garner\u2019s decision to divorce.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe biggest regret of my life is this divorce. Shame is really toxic. There is no positive by-product of shame,\u201d the actor told The New York Times<\/em> in 2020. \u201cIt\u2019s just stewing in a toxic, hideous feeling of low self-worth and self-loathing. I have certainly made mistakes. I have certainly done things that I regret. But you\u2019ve got to pick yourself up, learn from it, learn some more, try to move forward.\u201d<\/p>\n

Garner, for her part, also opened up about how difficult it was to end her and Affleck\u2019s marriage.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou have to be smart about what you can and can\u2019t handle, and I could not handle what was out there,\u201d she said in a January interview with Marie Claire UK. \u201cThe fact of it is what was hard. The actual breaking up of a family is what was hard. Losing a true partnership and friendship is what was hard.\u201d<\/p>\n
