Thank you so much @blueamberphoto for capturing these\u2026and for the bonus costume session Isaac was determined to get \ud83e\ude75,\u201d he captioned the pics.<\/p>\n<p>At the time, Daniel told his followers he hadn\u2019t updated them on Isaac\u2019s battle with Stage 3 mouth cancer \u201cin a bit\u201d because it was \u201cstill difficult for me to process and talk about.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>Daniel Coleman of \u201cDanny Go!\u201d shared details of his son Isaac\u2019s final weeks in his last Instagram post. (Daniel is pictured above with his wife and sons in a 2024 social media post.) <span class=\"credit\">Daniel Coleman\/ instagram<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module aligncenter wp-block-nypost-editor-primary-tag\">\n<\/aside>\n<p>\u201cThe high-level update is that his cancer has continued to spread aggressively and his energy levels have dropped very low,\u201d he added. \u201cWe\u2019re in the midst of a short palliative radiation round right now to slow down the growth of a large mass under his right eye, but we\u2019ve shifted into a comfort-focused approach with him overall.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Daniel divulged that his son had a hospice team \u201cto help manage the pain\u201d and that the family was \u201cjust doing our best to make each day as enjoyable and restful as possible for him.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>While he acknowledged that he and his wife \u201care heartbroken watching him decline, knowing how frustrating and scary this must be for him,\u201d he wrote that they were \u201ctrying to hold it all together &amp; keep soaking up the time we still have with our boy.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>His son\u2019s battle with mouth cancer was \u201cstill difficult for me to process and talk about,\u201d he wrote. I already miss you so much, and the pain in my heart is far more than I can process. Being your dad was the honor of a lifetime. <\/p>\n<p>He concluded the post, \u201cI\u2019m so proud of you and I love you forever. Rest peacefully, son.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>Daniel \u2014 who left a corporate job at Lowe\u2019s in 2021 in order to turn his attention to his YouTube career, having started \u201cDanny Go!\u201d two years prior \u2014 married Mindy in 2009 before welcoming Isaac two years later in 2011.<\/p>\n<p>Isaac was diagnosed with a genetic disorder called Fanconi anemia and had a kidney transplant in 2021.
