Accompanying it out to the masses is the below music video for the latest focus track from the record, \u201c<strong>As Seen In The Unseen<\/strong>\u201c. <strong>Dariusz Szermanowicz<\/strong> (<strong>Behemoth<\/strong>, <strong>Kreator<\/strong>) took up the reins of directing that video.<\/p>\n<p>While the band didn\u2019t have anything extra to offer about this new visual component, they did have the following to say about this record finally arriving. Vocalist <strong>Shagrath<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201c\u2018<strong>Grand Serpent Rising<\/strong>\u2018 captures everything <strong>Dimmu Borgir<\/strong> has been and become \u2013 it\u2019s darker, more brutal, yet melodic and diverse. It sums up all our phases; some songs are heavily inspired by our early years, while others push forward. We\u2019ve made the album more dynamic, with orchestration used more deliberately. The result is a more intense and hard hitting record.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Guitarist <strong>Silenoz<\/strong> went on to add:<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cWith \u2018<strong>Grand Serpent Rising<\/strong>\u2018, we deliberately revisited the spirit and atmosphere that shaped our identity in the early years.
