The new single marks the band\u2019s first new music since their latest studio album,\u00a0<a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/distortedsoundmag.com\/album-review-was-here-stand-atlantic\/\"><strong>WAS HERE<\/strong><\/a>, released back in 2024, via\u00a0<strong>Hopeless Records<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The accompanying music video, filmed at the iconic <strong>Young Henrys<\/strong> brewery in Newtown, Sydney, showcases the band\u2019s dynamic performance style while capturing the track\u2019s bright and immediate energy.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking on the new single, vocalist <strong>Bonnie Fraser<\/strong> shares, <em>\u201cI\u2019ve spent 10 years avoiding love songs and writing only about what ended in heartbreak. On <strong>Velcro<\/strong>, that curse is finally broken. It\u2019s the most honest thing I\u2019ve written in a long time \u2013 after a really intense period of writer\u2019s block, so recording it live, raw and unfiltered felt like the only way to do it.
