Brandi Glanville <\/b><\/a>believes that she might have contracted<\/a> \u201csexually transmitted ringworm.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI have a quick question. Have you heard about sexually transmitted ringworm?\u201d Glanville, 53, asked podcast guest Lisa Ann <\/b>on the Thursday, May 21, episode<\/span><\/a> of her \u201cBrandi Unfiltered\u201d show. \u201cI feel like I have it \u2026 in my throat.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ringworm is a fungal infection that can affect the hair, skin or nails, according to the CDC<\/span><\/a>. It can spread through skin-to-skin or sexual contact, which causes more severe infections.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s one of these things that most people don\u2019t know what to look for,\u201d Ann, an author and media personality, claimed. \u201cWe had to train our makeup artists that when a new member of talent would show up, they would have to get naked in a window where there\u2019s good light and they would inspect their body to see if they see any patches because it\u2019s incredibly contagious.\u201d<\/p>\n

As for Glanville, she believes that she allegedly contracted the infection after dating \u201csomebody in that industry.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHe would only, you know, my face \u2026 because he didn\u2019t want to get me pregnant,\u201d she said, without identifying her date. \u201cHe didn\u2019t know that ship had sailed. I\u2019m like, \u2018OK, whatever, I\u2019m not going to correct you. Alright, honey.\u2019 And in my mouth in all that, [then] my girlfriend told me about it yesterday. I knew nothing about it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Glanville said that she already underwent multiple tests to find out if she had a sexually transmitted disease in her throat, which came back negative.<\/p>\n

\u201cI really just heard about ringworm yesterday, and they can apparently \u2026 burrow in, like, if it\u2019s in your throat,\u201d the Bravo alum said. \u201cIf it\u2019s in your throat, they can burrow deep into your ears and all that.\u201d<\/p>\n
