Have you heard about sexually transmitted ringworm?\u201d Glanville asked\u00a0guest Lisa Ann\u00a0on Thursday\u2019s\u00a0episode\u00a0of her\u00a0<a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=feAq_MnSFf4\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\u201cBrandi Unfiltered\u201d\u00a0podcast<\/a>. \u201cI feel like I have it \u2026 in my throat.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Ringworm is a fungal infection that affects the hair, skin or nails,\u00a0<a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/ringworm\/about\/emerging-types.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">per the CDC<\/a>. It can spread through skin-to-skin or sexual contact. These infections can be \u201csevere and difficult to treat.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s one of these things that most people don\u2019t know what to look for,\u201d Ann \u2014 who is an author and retired American pornographic actress \u2014 alleged.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>Brandi Glanville (pictured here on Thursday) shared that she may have contracted ringworm through oral sex. <br \/><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>\u201cI feel like I have it \u2026 in my throat,\u201d the Bravo alum explained on her podcast.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module aligncenter wp-block-nypost-editor-primary-tag\">\n<\/aside>\n<p>\u201cWe had to train our makeup artists that when a new member of talent would show up, they would have to get naked in a window where there\u2019s good light and they would inspect their body to see if they see any patches because it\u2019s incredibly contagious.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Glanville thinks she contracted ringworm from dating\u00a0\u201csomebody in that industry.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe would only, you know, my face because he didn\u2019t want to get me pregnant,\u201d she shared about the mystery man. \u201cHe didn\u2019t know that ship had sailed.
