Two days after hosting the final episode<\/a> of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert<\/a><\/em> on CBS, Stephen Colbert made one more surprise appearance \u2014 this time on a public access show in Monroe, Michigan.<\/p>\n Colbert guest-hosted an episode of Only in Monroe<\/em> that aired at 11:35 p.m. on Friday (May 22), the night after his CBS farewell drew 6.74 million viewers. Colbert had joked he wanted official approval before proceeding.<\/p>\n Colbert\u2019s 11-year run at The Late Show<\/em> concluded Thursday with a finale that drew 6.74 million viewers \u2014 among the strongest late-night farewell numbers in years.
