It\u2019s Taylor Swift, obviously, announcing her engagement to Travis Kelce. My working theory, after knowing this for just 15 minutes, and not having read any other reports at any other outlets, is that she was surprised. For me\u2026 it\u2019s the manicure.\u00a0<\/p>\n <\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/figure>\n <\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Those are not the nails of someone who was expecting to be proposed to. Yes, I have zoomed the nails. They do not look like an intentionally \u201cnatural\u201d finish. They look like they\u2019re just not done \u2013 and if she had had anything to do with the planning, her nails would be a lot more presentable. We\u2019d get a lot more finger photos.\u00a0<\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Also, the lighting would be better. Remember how well she was lit on New Heights<\/em>? The lighting in these photos \u2026 is not to her standard. It was a professional shoot, organised by him, sure. And probably in consultation with Tree Paine but he was the lead architect\u2026\u00a0<\/p>\n Because, and this the most important point, in the storybook that she would write about her proposal and engagement, the Prince Charming would be the one to plan all of it \u2013 that\u2019s how you treat a Princess.\u00a0<\/p>\n Is it corny? Of course.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Taylor Swift has never not been corny and also cringe, these are her signatures. The fact that she\u2019s found someone who worships her for all that corn and cringe, and matches it, to the point where he designed a fantasy woodland scene in which to ask her to marry him just proves it.\u00a0<\/p>\n This is the most TNT engagement she \u2013 and we \u2013 could have ever asked for.\u00a0<\/p>\n Now, let\u2019s squawk<\/a>!
