TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) \u2014 Plans for a new entertainment district in downtown Tampa are in motion.<\/p>\n

Water Street Tampa announced that it is planning to expand with a 3,500-capacity live music venue, a 250-key hotel, a parking garage, entertainment-driven retail and more.<\/p>\n

\u201cFrom concerts and comedy to everyday dining and nightlife, this new destination is designed to stay active year-round, creating a dynamic hub for residents, visitors, sports fans and music lovers,\u201d Water Street Tampa said in a post on social media.<\/a><\/p>\n

    According to Water Street Tampa\u2019s website,<\/a> the entertainment district will be located between Channelside Drive and East Brorein Street.<\/p>\n
