The comedy drama starring Segel alongside Harrison Ford, Jessica Williams<\/span><\/a>, Christa Miller and more, follows Jimmy Laird (Segel), a therapist at the Cognitive Behavioural Therapy Centre who starts getting a little too involved in his patients\u2019 lives after losing his wife. The show, which is currently on its third season, has received several Emmy nominations and is the most-watched TV show on Apple TV+ at the time of writing.<\/div>\n

Notably, episodes two and three of season three were directed by Zach Braff, marking the actor\u2019s reunion with his Scrubs co-star Miller ahead of the medical show\u2019s revival. \u201cZach is one of my favourite directors,\u201d Miller, who plays Liz in Shrinking, told Yahoo! Christa Beatrice Miller was born on May 28, 1964, to Bonnie Trompter, a model, and Chuck Miller in New York. Actress Susan Saint James is her aunt.<\/p>\n

She attended all-girls school Convent of the Sacred Heart, but enjoyed playing American football with her male peers. \u201cI can throw a mean spiral and hold my own in a boy\u2019s football game!\u201d she revealed in an interview with the Television Academy.<\/p>\n
