\nthrone touched on the event that dominates many of his mornings \u2013
\nthe school run.<\/p>\n
And as he told hosts Amanda Holden and Jamie Theakston about the
\nchaos that ensues when he\u2019s left in charge of getting the Wales
\nchildren to school, he revealed a major decision about the future
\nof one of them has already been made.<\/p>\n
William told Heart Radio that he sometimes has only two
\nyoungsters to deal with as Prince George is already trying out
\nboarding as he prepares for a major shift in his schooling.<\/p>\n
George, who turns 13 in July, is set to leave Lambrook Prep
\nSchool in Berkshire which he has attended since September 2022 and
\nmove on to secondary education. He\u2019ll start his new school in
\nSeptember this year.<\/p>\n
Speculation has mounted over where the second in line to the
\nthrone will go with both Eton and Marlborough spoken about as
\npossibilities.<\/p>\n
There\u2019s also been discussion about whether George will become a
\nboarder and now it appears that his dad has confirmed that the
\nyoung prince is already in the swing of staying away from home.<\/p>\n
The revelation came unexpectedly as Prince William was asked
\nabout music in the car on the way to school. He said \u201dCharlotte and
\nLouis, because George is boarding last night, Charlotte and Louis,
\nif you\u2019re listening, make sure you\u2019re on time, please, make sure
\nyou\u2019re not fighting over who listens to what, this morning.\u201d<\/p>\n
He later told Amanda and Jamie that he finds mornings chaotic as
\nthere is so much to remember. He said he has to think about \u201dare we
\nboarding are we not, are we seeing friends or are we not, all of
\nthat going on in the morning.\u201d<\/p>\n
The discreet mention seemed to point to George becoming a
\nboarder when he switches schools in September. Lambrook offers a
\nrange of options for students who want to stay over, including the
\nchoice to board one to five nights a week.<\/p>\n
Prince William was a boarder at Eton and the Princess of Wales
\nalso boarded when she attended Marlborough College. Both school
\nhave been mentioned as possible for George and his parents have
\nalso been seen touring Oundle School.<\/p>\n
