RAYE<\/a>\u00a0has said she pushed herself to her \u201climit\u201d while working on her new album \u2018This Music May Contain Hope<\/a>\u2019.<\/p>\n

The South London singer\u2019s second record \u2013 the follow-up to the\u00a0multi-BRIT-winning<\/a>\u00a02023 debut \u2018My 21st\u00a0Century Blues<\/a>\u2019 \u2013 was recorded over an intensely busy period of three years and was released in March.<\/p>\n

In a new interview with\u00a0Billboard<\/i><\/a>, she\u00a0has\u00a0spoken\u00a0about how she came to\u00a0realise\u00a0that her work-life balance had become out of control during the runaway success that followed\u00a0the release of\u00a0\u2018My 21st\u00a0Century Blues\u2019.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere just comes a time in your life where, like, you have to, or you choose to, prioritise something over another, so I think in my case, like, work has really been my life for the last year, two years, three years,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
