Katie Price<\/a> has allegedly been requested to make a televised plea for information about her missing husband.<\/p>\n

The former glamour model<\/a>, aged 48, who married Dubai-based businessman Lee Andrews in January merely two weeks after their initial meeting, hasn’t had any contact with him since he didn’t turn up with her for a planned Good Morning Britain interview nearly two weeks ago.<\/p>\n

The former I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! contestant has dismissed suggestions that he’s been detained by authorities, and has grown progressively worried that a “kidnapping” may have occurred, leading to reports that she’s been asked to make a formal on-screen appearance.<\/p>\n

An insider revealed: “Katie has been in almost daily contacts with police, at least two different units. On Friday she was asked if she would appear on television and officially appeal for information on her missing husband. It all feels very surreal and like the thing you’d see on an ITV<\/a> primetime drama.”<\/p>\n

The source told The Sun: “Of course, she doesn’t want to go on telly pleading for new intel if he really is on the run – and ghosting her. But she will do all she can to help, even if that means launching an international manhunt. She wants him found safe and sound.”<\/p>\n

Devon Live has approached Katie’s representatives for a statement. The development follows shortly after the former glamour model shared a voice note in which she can be heard trying to reach her father-in-law Peter to inform him about the businessman’s location – a recording she claims offers a rare glimpse into how the initial hours unfolded after her partner vanished, reports the Mirror<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Katie has maintained he was abducted, though online investigators have since identified numerous inconsistencies in her account. He had been silent on social media until Friday, when he seemingly began following another Instagram account.<\/p>\n

Until then, he had exclusively followed the mother-of-five – but in an unusual development, he now also follows a woman called Marisol.<\/p>\n

The circumstances surrounding his disappearance have grown increasingly murky as the self-described billionaire seems to be ‘borrowing’ a remarkably similar narrative from another victim.<\/p>\n

In her latest YouTube upload, entitled: ‘Katie Price Vlog: The morning after my husband goes MISSING,’ she offered viewers a window into what happened next. She stated that Lee told her his “kidnappers” had confiscated two of his mobile phones, but he possessed a hidden third device he was using to stay in touch with her.<\/p>\n

The footage was recorded the day following Lee’s disappearance. “Because last night, they said, ‘They’ve taken two of my phones. They don’t know I’m on this phone’. And so he said, ‘I’ll just let you know I’ve been arrested. If they ring you,'” she claims he told her. “He wrote a text quick. I mean, I’m hope he’s all right, but I don’t know,” she said, before revealing she’d left a voice message for her father-in-law, whose contact details Lee had provided moments before vanishing.<\/p>\n

In her caption, she explained: “My head felt like it was about to explode with all the noise and the chaos so it was nice to be about to chill and zen out if only for a moment. It was only the day after he went missing and I was still trying to process it all whilst trying to keep myself busy.”<\/p>\n

However, his father has since stated that his son isn’t missing at all, but is instead being held in custody. Speaking over the weekend, he revealed: “Lee is OK. He has not been kidnapped but he is under arrest. I don’t know on what charge. I’m not sure where he is being held. But he will call me later today.” Claims which Katie have denied are true.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
