America\u2019s Got Talent<\/a><\/em> is gearing up for another outstanding season of making dreams come true. We already spoke with head honcho Simon Cowell<\/a>, celebrating his 10th year at the judges\u2019 table for NBC\u2019s talent competition, who explained this season\u2019s vibe as \u201ca happy place to be.\u201d<\/a> He also broke down the new Judges\u2019 Callbacks<\/a> element that is being incorporated into Season 21, which sees the judges select a few auditioners they\u2019d like to see perform again before the live shows. But how are Cowell\u2019s colleagues faring as we look ahead to the next installment of Talent<\/em>?<\/p>\n \u201cFirst and foremost, the talent is above and beyond,\u201d comic Howie Mandel<\/a>, says of Season 21\u2019s competitors. As the series\u2019 longest-running judge, Mandel also has high praise for one act that viewers will see during the auditions this year: \u201cMy Golden Buzzer is probably one of my favorite acts in my America\u2019s Got Talent<\/i> history.\u201d<\/p>\n Meanwhile, former Spice Girl Mel B claims to have the fastest hands at the table during this year\u2019s GBs \u2014 and we believe her! \u201cMy favorite moment this year was I literally didn\u2019t give any of the other judges a chance to press that buzzer,\u201d she tells us. \u201cI was in there so fast no one knew what was going on, which really made me laugh.\u201d The craziest act she saw this year? \u201cA guy who pretended to be three<\/i> different acts.\u201d<\/p>\n While we\u2019re wrapping our heads around that, Modern Family<\/a><\/i> vet Sof\u00eda Vergara<\/a>, now on her seventh season at the table, notes that, \u201cfor the first time in Ameri<\/i>ca\u2019s Got Talent<\/i> history, the talent has been so outstanding that we saw back-to-back Golden Buzzers. It\u2019s a rare and thrilling milestone that reflects just how high the level of competition has become.\u201d<\/p>\n And besides out-of-this-world competition, what else is the show about? For host Terry Crews<\/a>, back for his eighth season, it\u2019s about the emotional journeys we\u2019ll see as we meet new competitors. \u201cWhat excites me most is the heart,\u201d Crews says. \u201cEvery season, people come out with something real \u2014 something they\u2019ve fought for \u2014 and this year, it hits deeper.
