Taking to Instagram on Saturday<\/a>, with a video clip from the show, where she was singing \u201cThese Boots Are Made for Walkin’\u201d on stage, she reflected on her return. <\/p>\n \u201cTulsa, you brought the energy last night! Couldn\u2019t have asked for a better start to this run of shows. I missed singin\u2019 with y\u2019all!\u201d she captioned the clip, which also included a post-show video message from her and the band. <\/p>\n \u201cWe just got off stage we had an awesome show tonight and we can\u2019t wait to perform for all of you again,\u201d she said. <\/p>\n And fans absolutely loved it. <\/p>\n \u201cLiterally one of the best nights of my life!\u201d one wrote. <\/p>\n \u201cYOU were AMAZING sis!\u201d added another. \u201cSuch a treat to meet you and watch you kill it on stage once again. BEST NIGHT EVER!\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cYou sounded amazing, the dress was fitted RIGHT baby and you owned that stage,\u201d said a third. <\/p>\n \u201cWhat a thrill it was watching you command that stage!\u201d echoed another. <\/p>\n Simpson, who, along with the Nancy Sinatra <\/strong>cover, is known for her hits \u201cWith You\u201d and \u201cIrresistible,\u201d released new music<\/a> last year with two separate albums: \u201cNashville Canyon: Part 1\u201d released in March 2025 and \u201cNashville Canyon: Part 2\u201d released in September 2025. <\/p>\n In the time since her last music release \u2014 a Christmas album in 2010 \u2014 Simpson\u2019s personal life somewhat stayed in the spotlight as she welcomed her three children with her now-ex, former NFL player Eric Johnson, whom she split from in 2025.<\/a> The singer also revealed in her 2020 memoir, \u2018Open Book,\u2019 that she previously suffered from addiction to alcohol and prescription pills. <\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019ve lived through the hardest parts of life, and music is what has brought me back,\u201d Simpson said of her latest project in a statement obtained by Billboard.com.<\/a> \u201c\u2019Nashville Canyon\u2019\u00a0is for anyone who\u2019s ever been told who they are or how they should live their life.
