The MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas was buzzing with famous faces from the music industry on Monday, except for Swift, despite being nominated in eight categories.<\/p>\n
Even though she was nowhere to be seen and didn\u2019t receive any awards, Swift remains the AMA\u2019s most decorated artist, with 40 trophies to her name.<\/p>\n
The big winner of the night was South Korean boy band BTS, who took home artist of the year following the release of their new album Arirang. The K-pop stars also won the best male K-Pop artist award and song of the summer gong for their track Swim.<\/p>\n
