Moral Panic<\/a>\u2019, \u2018Broken Machine\u2019 and \u2018Nothing But Thieves\u2019.<\/p>\nThis time around, the band reveal that they have literally and thematically returned to their roots for the new LP, recording at Angelic Studios where they made their debut record and looking back at how they began with a DIY spirit.<\/p>\n
Instead of writing new music while on the road, Nothing But Thieves instead came up with the new material in unison over a dedicated five-month period \u2013 leading to what they describe as their most liberating and cohesive work yet, and music that speaks to the power of community.<\/p>\n
\n<\/blockquote>\nThe band announced their return last week with the new single \u2018Evolution\u2019, which they unveiled on a YouTube livestream and teased with cryptic posters. Fast paced from beginning to end, the song is rich in themes of harmony, nostalgia and hope, and sees them combine soaring vocals and lively guitars.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s a song that\u2019s not too concerned about finality. I think imperfection and authenticity is becoming ever more valuable and it\u2019s definitely something we\u2019re drawn to,\u201d the band explained.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019ve spent some time trying to work out what\u2019s real and tangible about who we are and how we use our time. The people we travel the world with, the human moments on stage, the connection we make with those who come to our shows. That\u2019s real\u2026 It\u2019s a bit of a love letter to the people in our world in that way.\u201d<\/p>\n
