\n\tEXCLUSIVE:<\/strong> Heated Rivalry<\/a><\/em> producer Accent Aigu Entertainment<\/a> has reset its management structure.<\/p>\n \n\tThe Toronto-based production house today outlined a new structure and made several appointments. Among the changes, company co-founders Jacob Tierney<\/a>, who wrote Heated Rivalry<\/em>, and Brendan Brady<\/a>, the show\u2019s producer, will switch from co-Presidents to new roles.<\/p>\n \n\tTierney will become Chief Creative Officer and executive producer and Brady CEO and exec producer at Accent Aigu, which was founded in 2023 and last year achieved huge global success with Crave and HBO queer drama Heated Rivalry<\/em>. The show exploded in the U.S., making stars of Hudson Williams and Connor Storrie.<\/p>\n \n\tElsewhere, Jayme Alter Wilson has been named President, Craig Merritt becomes CFO, Lori Fischburg will be Head of Production, and Liane Cunje takes on the roles of Development Executive and producer.<\/p>\n \n\tAlter Wilson has been a company advisor since its inception and will now lead strategy an operations alongside Tierney and Brady. She was previously a partner in media, entertainment and sports at Dentons, and begins her new role in June.<\/p>\n \n\tMerritt will lead all production and corporation financial activities, having previously worked large public businesses and private operations, and Lischburg takes on her new post after line-producing Heated Rivalry<\/em>. She\u2019ll oversee Accent Aigu\u2019s production slate. Cunje, an independent film producer who has managed the Toronto International Film Festival\u2019s programming and served as its industry selection programmer, will oversee development across the slate.<\/p>\n \n\tAccent Aigu is currently in development of the much-anticipated Season 2 of Heated Rivalry<\/em>, and is now seeking to expand the scripted slate further.
