PC: courtesy<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kick-off summer at Wailuku First Friday on Market Street on <strong>Friday, June 5, 2026, from 6\u20139 p.m.<\/strong> This free, family-friendly community event will feature Maui-made shopping, food, and live local entertainment in the heart of historic Wailuku Town.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Market Street Stage Entertainment<\/h3>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>6 \u2013 7:30 p.m. \u2014 Gregory Juan<\/strong>: Juan was the 2016 Richard Ho\u02bbopi\u02bbi Leo Ki\u02bbeki\u02bbe Falsetto Contest Champion.  He will headline the evening with his award-winning Hawaiian music. His 2024 debut solo album, \u201cKauluwehi,\u201d released under Kahikina Productions, earned him his fifth N\u0101 H\u014dk\u016b Hanohano Award, including Hawaiian EP of the Year. Juan also received a Grammy Award nomination in 2021. His newest project, \u201cHi\u02bbilei,\u201d released May 8 on all digital platorms, features the song \u201cPua Meli\u02bbe,\u201d which is currently on the ballot for the 2026 N\u0101 H\u014dk\u016b Hanohano Awards Hawaiian Music Video of the Year.<\/li>\n<li><strong>7:45 \u2013 9 p.m. \u2014 Kuikawa<\/strong>:  Popular local group Kuikawa takes the stage as they celebrate their 10th anniversary year with an evening of island music and entertainment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Wailuku Garage<\/h3>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Enjoy the sounds of DJ Z spinning favorite hits while exploring local vendors at the Wailuku Garage. Support local by shopping, eating, and celebrating Maui\u2019s small businesses and artisans.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Parking &amp; Road Closures<\/h3>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Free parking is available after 6 p.m. at the Wailuku Municipal Parking Garage, with access via Church Street between Vineyard and Main Streets.
