First baseman Paul Goldschmidt followed with a double, but the inning appeared to be over when designated hitter Ben Rice lined out to Royals right fielder Jac Caglianone.<\/p>\n<p><!----><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<p>The ball had an exit velocity of 107.4 mph, meaning it was crushed. Caglianone initially seemed to hesitate before he came in but made a snowcone catch with the ball peeking out of the top of his glove.<\/p>\n<p><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<p>New York manager Bret Boone challenged the catch and the replay showed Caglianone trapped the ball, but it was really close.
