He is among the most well-known members of the <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/e.vnexpress.net\/news\/life\/celebrities\/brunei-s-prince-mateen-and-wife-share-first-photos-of-newborn-daughter-5040774.html\" rel=\"dofollow\">Brunei royal family<\/a> and frequently represents the monarchy at international events.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Normal\">He married Yang Mulia Anisha Rosnah in Jan. 2024 in a multi-day royal wedding held that drew widespread international media coverage. In February this year, the couple announced the birth of their first child, Princess Zahra Mariam Bolkiah.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Normal\">Since welcoming their daughter, Mateen and Anisha have shared their family moments on social media. In April, they posted photos from a holiday abroad with Zahra. Mateen has also shared images of himself caring for his daughter at home.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Normal\">In 2016, <em>Tatler <\/em>magazine named Mateen one of Asia\u2019s most eligible bachelors.
