Kate Gosselin<\/strong><\/a> is giving fans a raw look at her journey with her newly adopted rescue dog, Koda.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was just crying this morning,\u201d Gosselin, 51, said in a Tuesday, May 26, TikTok video<\/a> as she detailed her struggles with getting Koda adjusted to life in her home, where she also has a German Shepard named Meika.<\/p>\n

The former reality star continued, \u201cI\u2019m tired. It\u2019s getting to be a lot, which makes me sound like a baby, but the truth is, I\u2019ve just been on watch constantly hoping nothing, you know, happens and watching them all the time.\u201d<\/p>\n

Gosselin, who rose to fame in the mid 2000s documenting life with her eight children on TLC\u2019s Kate Plus 8<\/em> (formerly Jon & Kate Plus 8<\/em>), then compared raising Koda to raising her kids.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tKate Gosselin is addressing rumors that she took the plunge with her boyfriend and former bodyguard, Steve Neild. The former reality star, 50, reacted to speculation that she tied the knot after posting a new TikTok video on Wednesday, January 7, rocking some sparkling bling on her left ring finger. \u201cMa\u2019am that ring is gorgeous!! [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cI am 51 now. I\u2019m not 29, 30. So it\u2019s just gotten to be a lot,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n

Gosselin called Koda, who is a Malinois mix puppy, a \u201chumongous personality.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cShe is now very obsessed with her ball, equally as Meika, and she could run forever,\u201d she explained, becoming emotional. \u201cSo, we\u2019re seeing the humongous energy of a malamute now, and I\u2019m really starting to doubt myself.\u201d<\/p>\n

Gosselin also detailed the struggles she\u2019s had with managing both Meika and Koda as the dogs adjust to life together, admitting that it can be hard when she\u2019s by herself. (The TLC alum adopted Koda with her boyfriend, Steve Neild<\/strong><\/a>, whom she went public with last year.)<\/p>\n

\u201cSteve went to work, and so I\u2019m with them today,\u201d she added. \u201cAnd I always turn on Bob Ross<\/strong> painting when we\u2019re on the TV, when we\u2019re together. So I try to keep them calm, and I take them on walks.\u201d<\/p>\n

Gosselin broke down in tears again as she recalled Koda attempting to destroy a bed that once belonged to her late German Shepard Nanuq, who died in December 2025.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s our favorite bed. I\u2019ve had it for, gosh, 15 plus years or more,\u201d she explained, adding that the bed was \u201cvery special\u201d to her. \u201cThat really upset me. That would really break my heart. And I know that things get destroyed.\u201d<\/p>\n

Gosselin noted, \u201cShe just has a lot of energy and needs to be doing something. I can see that plain as day. She\u2019s very sweet, she\u2019s very loving. I think she wants to obey and wants to please us, it\u2019s just [that] we have to direct her energy there.\u201d<\/p>\n
