Victoria Beckham<\/strong><\/a> shared her mindset when it comes to parenting her four kids with husband David Beckham<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s a big difference between supporting children with what they want to do and forcing them,\u201d Victoria, 52, told The Times<\/em><\/a> on Wednesday, May 27. \u201cAll we\u2019ve ever done with any of the children is support them, help them and encourage them.\u201d<\/p>\n

For example, her sons, Brooklyn<\/strong><\/a>, 27, Romeo<\/strong><\/a>, 23, and Cruz<\/strong><\/a>, 21, all used to follow in their dad\u2019s footsteps by playing soccer, but \u201cone by one they decided it wasn\u2019t for them.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd that\u2019s OK, whatever makes them happy,\u201d the former Spice Girl<\/a> added. \u201cI just want them to feel fulfilled.\u201d<\/p>\n

She added that she\u2019s \u201cproud\u201d that all of her children, including daughter Harper, 14, \u201cfound what they love,\u201d as well as \u201ctheir passion and their sense of purpose.\u201d<\/p>\n

Victoria\u2019s message comes after Brooklyn slammed her and David<\/a>, 51, in a January social media statement.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have been silent for years and made every effort to keep these matters private. Unfortunately, my parents and their team have continued to go to the press, leaving me with no choice but to speak for myself and tell the truth about only some of the lies that have been printed,\u201d he wrote at the time. \u201cI do not want to reconcile with my family. I\u2019m not being controlled, I\u2019m standing up for myself for the first time in my life.\u201d<\/p>\n

Brooklyn went on to claim that Victoria and David \u201ccontrolled narratives in the press\u201d for his \u201centire life,\u201d danced \u201cvery inappropriately on\u201d him at his wedding to Nicola Peltz Beckham<\/strong> and \u201crefused\u201d to see him and Nicola at the soccer legend\u2019s birthday party.<\/p>\n
