Stephanie Pratt<\/strong><\/a> is weighing in again on brother Spencer Pratt<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s mayoral run in Los Angeles, but this time with a different opinion.<\/p>\n \u201cI admit I was the first person to tell people that they were idiots if they voted for my brother,\u201d Stephanie, 40, told Vanity Fair<\/em> <\/a>in an email interview on Wednesday, May 27. \u201cWow, was I wrong. He has spent every day since the fires, finding the facts, the mistakes, the negligence and uncovering the truth that they never wanted us to know.\u201d<\/p>\n After Spencer, 42, announced earlier this year that he is running for mayor of Los Angeles, Stephanie publicly shared via X in February that a \u201cvote for him is a vote for stupidity.\u201d<\/a> Months later, Spencer exclusively shared how his family feels about his political bid in Us Weekly<\/em>\u2019s latest cover story.<\/a><\/p>\n \u201cMy mom and dad are still struggling; they\u2019ve lost everything, so they\u2019re just keeping it together,\u201d he said in the Wednesday article. \u201cMy sister [Stephanie] goes back and forth, and I obviously pray for her. My older sister [Kristin<\/strong>] is very supportive. Family will always be family [with] ups and downs. I\u2019m doing this for my own soul and spirit.\u201d<\/p>\n Spencer\u2019s wife, Heidi Montag<\/strong>, has been \u201cobviously very supportive\u201d throughout the process. (The pair share sons Gunnar, 8, and Ryker, 3.)<\/p>\n \u201cHeidi is so locked in with Jesus, she just keeps saying, \u2018God has a great purpose for you, honey,\u2019\u201d he told Us<\/em>, before addressing whether he feels like it is part of his destiny. \u201cI truly never imagined I would actually probably [become] the mayor. I just wanted somebody to [tell] the truth, and I wanted to have that platform as a candidate against [Karen Bass<\/strong>] to get the truth. You can just get away with lying if you don\u2019t have somebody saying that\u2019s not true.\u201d<\/p>\n
