\n\tU.K. factual outfit Zinc Media Group<\/a>\u00a0has been commissioned to reinvent and produce season 18 of the Qatar<\/a> Foundation\u2019s educational reality TV show \u201cStars of Science\u201d in a $6 million deal that marks Zinc\u2019s first major entertainment commission in the Middle East.<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cStars of Science,\u201d which features Arab innovators and entrepreneurs looking to transform their ideas into inventions with the guidance of experts, is among the longest-running entertainment formats across the Arab world and the wider Arab diaspora. <\/p>\n \n\t\u201cZinc has been brought in to lead a full creative reset of the format, refreshing its storytelling and studio experience through the integration of AI technologies and broadening its entertainment appeal for a new generation of viewers,\u201d according to a statement.<\/p>\n \n\tAndrea Hamilton (\u201cThe Voice,\u201d\u00a0\u201cStrictly Come Dancing\u201d) will executive produce the new season, \u201cbringing large-scale entertainment expertise to the format refresh,\u201d it added.<\/p>\n \n\t\u201c\u2019Stars of Science\u2019\u00a0already has an extraordinary legacy and cultural relevance across the region,\u201d Hamilton noted in the statement. \u201cThe opportunity now is to evolve the format for a new generation of viewers, bringing more scale, emotion, jeopardy and entertainment storytelling while keeping innovation at the heart of the show.
