Grammy<\/b>-nominated international superstar Adam Lambert<\/b> has released the official Vitalii Akimov<\/b>-directed music video for his latest single, “Eat U Alive”<\/b>. The track is taken from Adam<\/b>‘s sixth full-length studio album, “Adam”<\/b>, which will arrive on Friday, July 10 via his own label, distributed via The Orchard<\/b>. Featuring artwork by renowned fashion photographer Nick Knight<\/b> and executive produced by Pete Nappi<\/b> (Jon Bellion<\/b>, Jon Batiste<\/b>, JONAS BROTHERS<\/b>, Rihanna<\/b>, Pharrell Williams<\/b>),the self-titled album features 12 diverse new songs and marks a fully realized exploration into all facets of Lambert<\/b>‘s humanity and otherworldly artistry.<\/p>\n
Largely inspired by the 1990s alternative and electronica, “Adam”<\/b> expertly blends multiple genres to create something timeless. The first taste of the album arrived earlier in the month with the release of “Eat U Alive”<\/b>, introducing listeners to the dark industrial texture that will come to define much of the album. Featuring an infectious, high-energy chorus and dripping with insatiable primal desire, the new track shines a spotlight on Lambert<\/b>‘s powerhouse vocal abilities and is available to stream now.<\/p>\n

The “Eat U Alive”<\/b> release marked the first original music from Lambert<\/b> since his critically acclaimed Broadway debut in 2024 starring as Emcee<\/b> in the Tony Award<\/b>-winning production of “Cabaret”<\/b> at the Kit Kat Club for which The New York Times<\/b> praised his “theatrical chops” and Variety<\/b> called it a role he was “born to play.” Due to fan demand, he released “I Don’t Care Much”<\/b> as a single in collaboration with Andrew Lloyd Webber<\/b>, which he debuted on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon”<\/b>. He followed up that acclaimed role with “Jesus Christ Superstar”<\/b> at the Hollywood Bowl in August 2025 where he starred as Judas<\/b> alongside Cynthia Erivo<\/b> as Jesus<\/b>. “Eat U Alive”<\/b> was written by Adam Lambert<\/b>, David Pramik<\/b>, Alna Hofmeyr<\/b>, Jordan Brasko Gable<\/b>, Peter Nappi<\/b> and Brasko<\/b>. Produced by Pramik<\/b> and Nappi<\/b>, it features Pramik<\/b> on acoustic guitar, synthesizer, percussion, and electronic drums, Nappi<\/b> on synthesizer, percussion, and electronic drums, and Hofmeyr<\/b> on background vocals.<\/p>\n
Earlier this year, Lambert<\/b> told NME<\/b> that he was working on new solo material, saying that he had been working on his “own project for the past year and a half”.<\/p>\n
“There is definitely new music on the horizon,” he said at the time. “I can’t give too many details yet about what that is, but it’s a whole new situation, so I’m excited to unveil that soon,” he added, with plans to release it at some point “in 2026”.<\/p>\n
