Pophouse Entertainment<\/strong> has appointed Richa Goswami<\/strong> to its Board of Directors.<\/p>\n Goswami<\/strong> brings more than 25<\/strong> years<\/strong> of experience in brand-building, customer growth, and business transformation across private equity, financial services, healthcare, and digital ecosystems.<\/p>\n The appointment, announced on Thursday (May 28), comes as Pophouse<\/strong> continues to expand its global footprint under CEO Jessica Koravos<\/strong>, who took over the role in January<\/a>.<\/p>\n Lennart Blecher<\/strong>, Non-Executive Chair of Pophouse<\/strong>, said: \u201cAs Pophouse embarks on its next phase of global growth, we are delighted to warmly welcome Richa to the Board.<\/p>\n \u201cHer extensive track record in building global brands will be invaluable as we continue to scale our platform and push the boundaries of how artists forge deeper engagement with audiences across the world.<\/p>\n \u201cI look forward to her contribution to Pophouse as we create genuine long-term value for investors and artists alike.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cHer extensive track record in building global brands will be invaluable as we continue to scale our platform and push the boundaries of how artists forge deeper engagement with audiences across the world.\u201d<\/p>\n Lennart Blecher<\/strong>, Pophouse Entertainment<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n Goswami\u2019s<\/strong> executive career includes serving as Global Chief Marketing & Brand Officer at Fidelity International<\/strong>, where she established the firm\u2019s first integrated global marketing organization across 28<\/strong> markets.<\/p>\n Prior to that, as Global Chief Customer & Marketing Officer at HSBC<\/strong>, she led customer and growth strategy across more than 60<\/strong> markets and oversaw one of the bank\u2019s global marketing investment portfolios.<\/p>\n Earlier in her career, as Global Chief Digital Officer at Johnson & Johnson Consumer Health<\/strong>, she led the digital transformation of more than 50<\/strong> brands and helped scale global e-commerce and consumer engagement capabilities.<\/p>\n Goswami<\/strong> currently serves as an Independent Non-Executive Director at EQT AB<\/strong>, where she is also a member of the Remuneration Committee.<\/p>\n The EQT<\/strong> connection is notable: Pophouse<\/strong> was co-founded in 2014 by EQT<\/strong> founder Conni Jonsson<\/strong> alongside ABBA\u2019s<\/strong> Bj\u00f6rn Ulvaeus<\/strong>, while Pophouse<\/strong> chair Lennart Blecher<\/strong> serves as EQT\u2019s<\/strong> Head of Real Assets.<\/p>\n Goswami<\/strong> also serves on the board of MMA Global Asia Pacific<\/strong> and holds an MSc in International Marketing from the University of Strathclyde<\/strong>.<\/p>\n The board appointment is the latest in a series of moves by Pophouse<\/strong> as it scales its operations globally.<\/p>\n In March, the company acquired a majority stake in the music interests of Tina<\/strong> Turner<\/strong><\/a> in a deal with BMG<\/a><\/strong> that also covered the late artist\u2019s Name, Image and Likeness rights \u2013 the first major acquisition to be announced under Koravos<\/strong>.<\/p>\n That deal followed the closing of Pophouse Fund I<\/strong> in March 2025, which raised over EUR<\/strong> \u20ac1.2 billion<\/strong> (USD $1.3 billion)<\/a> to invest in music catalogs and IP.<\/p>\n Pophouse<\/strong> says it has deployed around 30%<\/strong> of the fund through partnerships with artists including KISS<\/strong>, Cyndi Lauper<\/strong>, Avicii<\/strong>, and Swedish House Mafia<\/strong>.<\/p>\n The Stockholm-based company says it takes an \u201cartist-centric\u201d approach to investing, targeting publishing rights, recording rights, and Name, Image and Likeness rights \u2013 and adding value through immersive projects and concept development.<\/p>\n Its portfolio of productions includes\u00a0ABBA Voyage<\/strong>, the avatar concert in London; the\u00a0Avicii Experience<\/strong>\u00a0in Stockholm;\u00a0Mamma Mia! The Party<\/strong>;\u00a0ABBA The Museum<\/strong>; and a forthcoming\u00a0KISS<\/strong>\u00a0avatar show.<\/p>\n ABBA Voyage<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 which features virtual avatars of the group performing in a purpose-built\u00a03,000<\/strong>-capacity arena at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in London \u2013 remains the flagship example of\u00a0Pophouse\u2019s<\/strong>\u00a0approach to entertainment IP.<\/p>\n The show\u2019s holding company,\u00a0Aniara Ltd<\/strong>, reported turnover of GBP <\/strong>\u00a3104.34 million<\/strong>\u00a0($112.9 million<\/strong>) in\u00a02024, with\u00a01.06 million<\/strong>\u00a0tickets sold across\u00a0374<\/strong>\u00a0performances and an\u00a0occupancy rate of more than 90%<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n
