Model Paulina Porizkova<\/strong><\/a> claimed she\u2019s being \u201cevicted\u201d from her New York City apartment just days before marrying fianc\u00e9 Jeff Greenstein<\/strong> in Italy.<\/p>\n

During a recent episode of her \u201cTwenty Good Summers\u201d podcast<\/a>, Porizkova, 61, explained that her landlord decided not to extend the lease on her Manhattan unit, which she\u2019s lived in since 2021.<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cNo matter how great a tenant I was for six years, he didn\u2019t really want to give us an extension on the lease, even though I begged and pleaded,\u201d she shared on the podcast she cohosts with Greenstein, 62. \u201cAnd so we have to move out of here four days before we get married in Italy. Not great.\u201d<\/p>\n

Porizkova noted that both she and Greenstein are \u201cover 60\u201d and \u201care starting over.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re starting over completely, both of us,\u201d she added. \u201cBecause we are about to move out of this apartment that I love so much, that has kept me safe, and where I\u2019ve sort of grown up to be a woman, I feel.\u201d<\/p>\n

Despite the complications, Porizkova clarified she still had housing options, saying, \u201cWe\u2019re very privileged souls. I do have a country house that I co-own with my sons [Jonathan and Oliver]. And so we can move up there, which is kind of further away from New York City.\u201d<\/p>\n

She continued: \u201cOr we still have [Jeff\u2019s] house in L.A., which we are in the process of selling, but for the time being, we can go there. We cannot complain, but it is an unexpected happenstance.\u201d<\/p>\n

The biggest obstacle has been navigating a move<\/a> and planning a wedding all at once.<\/p>\n
