The U.S. independent live entertainment community is gathering in Minneapolis June 7-10 for NIVA ’26<\/strong><\/a>, the fifth annual national conference of the The National Independent Venue Association<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The event brings together independent venue owners, promoters, bookers, agents and service providers to tackle the most pressing issues in the live music ecosystem.<\/p>\n

This week NIVA announced the full schedule sessions and events to be hosted at some of Minneapolis’ iconic NIVA member venues, including Hennepin Event Center, Pantages Theatre<\/strong>, and Dudley Riggs Theatre.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The week kicks off Sunday, June 7 with an\u00a0Opening Night Party: A Celebration of Prince<\/strong>, presented by\u00a0EVENTIM<\/u><\/a>, at First Avenue <\/strong>with a local showcase in 7th Street Entry sponsored by\u00a0Electro Voice<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Spotify<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Networking <\/strong>at NIVA ’26 doesn’t end after daytime programming. There’s Nightcap at Icehouse <\/strong>presented by\u00a0Eventbrite<\/a>,\u00a0as well as\u00a0Happy Hours<\/strong> at The Dakota<\/strong> presented by\u00a0Etix<\/a>, Hennepin Event Center<\/strong> presented by\u00a0Boston Beer Co<\/a>, and Green Room<\/strong> presented by\u00a0Adreach<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n
